AIS Neck Stretches for Better Overall Health
Many people get neck pain. Many others begin to restrict their movements or alter their body motions to deal with stiffness and pain. If you live life you likely have some restricted motion in your neck. I didn't realize how much my neck movement has been restricted until I started doing these stretches and dealt with the limitations that I have allowed to creep up on me.
Here are set of Active Isolated neck stretches that can be done in about ten minutes. If done correctly they are painless and quite effective. I have had very good results from clients that have come to me with neck problems and followed my recommendation to continue with these on their own.
Ben Benjamin is a renowned Osteopathic Massage therapist. He has incorporated the AIS techniques into his therapies and I am finding his work a revealing advance in my own understandings of massage and muscle and joint mobility.
He presents a therapeutic approach that I likely could have utilized in helping my mother in the last years of her life. Though she died at almost 97, it was always a great frustration that I could not help her with her muscle and joint pains with the skills I had learned. Finding this methodology for pain relief brings me hope that I can improve my skill levels and understanding to a point where I can aid my older clients and friends in dealing with their pain.
I recommend you take a look at this brief set of neck stretches. Listen closely to instructions. Remember not to push into pain. Breathe and relax. Note the improvement in your mobility as you do these simple stretches.

If you find these stretches helpful, then look at the other presentations by Ben Benjamin. If you some want help or advice don't hesitate to let me know and I'll do what I can to assist you.
Aloha.
